The foundation of great tasting food
Provenance
At Finedale Foods, we believe the foundation of great-tasting food lies in the quality of its ingredients. We are committed to sourcing premium ingredients for your products with a strong focus on sustainability and ethical practices. Many of the base ingredients that we will use in your products come from British farmers and suppliers, chosen not only for their quality but also for their commitment to sustainable practices.
ALWAYS USING THE BEST INGREDIENTS
Meat
We take pride in the high quality of British meat that we source from suppliers where there is a strong emphasis on animal welfare and traceability. The beef we use comes from Red Tractor-assured farms that must meet rigorous standards for welfare, environmental protection, and food safety.
Fish
Sustainability is at the core of our seafood sourcing. We only use fish certified by GlobalGAP, a globally recognised standard for good agricultural practices. This certification ensures the fish used in your products come from sustainable, environmentally responsible sources that protect natural resources and maintain biodiversity.
Eggs
Our commitment to quality extends to the eggs we use, which are sourced from UK suppliers. We prioritise using British free-range eggs, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, hygiene, and transparency. This commitment allows us to trace the ingredients used in your products back to farms, providing full accountability and quality assurance.
Dairy
The milk and cheese we will use in your products are sourced from the UK and Ireland, ensuring freshness and support for local farming communities. Our dairy suppliers adhere to high standards of animal welfare and sustainable farming practices, reflecting our commitment to quality and responsibility.
Palm Oil
If your recipe requires the use of palm oil, it will be RSPO-certified segregated palm oil. RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) is a global organisation working to make the palm oil industry sustainable. Palm oil that is certified as segregated by RSPO can come from different sources, but all those sources have to be certified and the palm oil itself has to be kept segregated in the supply chain from standard palm oil.
