With locations at Headcorn Aerodrome and Manston International Airport, Polar Helicopters is both a Helicopter Training School and provider of Helicopter Experiences across Kent. We have flown thousands of delighted sightseers across the Kent skies to see the Garden of England as never before, and have trained hundreds of enthusiasts to gain their Helicopter Private Pilots Licence (PPL-H) and further, advanced quailifations.

Our situation offers free airspace up to 3,500 feet which makes it ideal for helicopter training.

Trial Flight Lesson
Just like a driving lesson but in the skies! Our expert instructor guides you (with dual control) through all the rudiments of helicopter flying. Your lesson can be integrated with an exclusive Sightseeing Trip with up to 3 guests! From Headcorn or Manston.
Sightseeing Trips
See Kent from the skies with an awesome sightseeing flght. Fly from Headcorn or Manston - a variety of standard trips are available and you can also organise an Exclusive Flight offering a bespoke experience for up to 4 passengers.

We are based in Headcorn Aerodrome, a 100+ year old airfield catering for both Helicopters and aeroplane activities. These activities include:
