Hire a Helicopter to fly yourself
Once qualified with a PPL(H), you will then be able to rent our aircraft to fly yourself. Take friends on sightseeing trips around the local area or land in your own, or a friend's garden. We can advise you of the many local restaurants or hotels at which you may land for a meal or an overnight stay and remember that you only actually pay for the time which the aircraft is running!
After completing a cross channel checkout with an instructor, you may wish to spread your wings abroad, with Le Touquet, Calais, Ostend and several other airfields less than an hour away.
For a truly spectacular flight, take the helicopter into the centre of London routing up the Thames. Familiarise yourself with the designated heli-lanes with an instructor first before impressing your friends with this unique experience. The options are endless with the versatility of the helicopter - it really is 'the coolest way to travel'.
