Problems aligning video and text in 2 columns.

See 2 examples below. I want the layout of the first example but the video controls extend beyond the width of the video itself.

Source Grid Stack..

  • Text and video Vertically aligned to centre (desirable but not essential)
  • Horizontally aligned centre (what I want when stacked on on mobile)
  • However, controls are too wide (scroll over video to see controls). They are effectively taking the full width of the grid container

JW Responsive 2 Col Stack

  • Cannot align 2 columns vertically centre (not a big deal)
  • Cannot align horizontally centre (looks poor when stacked on mobile)
  • However, Controls fit nicely in video!
